Library tour FAQs

The following information is for delegates who have registered for library tours. Please email actioningthelaw@gmail.com if you have any further questions. Library tours are again fully booked.

10.30am – 11.00am	ANU Law Library Law Library, Australian National University Building 5 Cnr Fellows and East Roads Campus map reference CD32 - http://campusmap.anu.edu.au/displaymap.asp?grid=cd32	Enter via the College of Law entrance and meet in the Library foyer.
11.45am – 12.15pm	National Portrait Gallery Highlights Tour King Edward Terrace  Parkes	Please meet at the Information Desk in the foyer of the National Portrait Gallery
12 noon – 1.00pm	Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House Tour of the Prime Ministerial Research Centre and Museum 18 King George Terrace Parkes	Museum reception will direct you to the meeting spot for the tour. The tour will be conducted by Library staff from the Prime Ministerial Research Centre.   The Museum have waived the entry fee for delegates attending this tour.   Short-term parking may be available at the front and sides of Old Parliament House.
1.15pm – 1.45pm	Attorney-General's Department Library	Delegates should meet at the foyer of Attorney-General's Department.  The foyer has a Reception desk with security guards and each delegate will be issued with a visitors pass.  Library staff will be in the foyer to greet the delegates and escort them to the Library.   A small number of car parks are available at the front of the building at 3-5 National Circuit and  there is a short term parking near National Archives of Australia, Queen Victoria Terrace. Security arrangements.
2.00pm – 2.45pm	High Court of Australia Library Parkes Place Parkes	All tour attendees will need to meet at the Security desk - go down Parkes Place towards the end of the building, ie towards the Lake and it is the last door marked Practitioners' Entrance. All attendees will need to meet at the Security Desk and be escorted throughout the building.
3.00pm – 3.45pm	National Library of Australia Library Parkes Place Parkes   Please see the National Library of Australia website for details on getting to the library.	Please meet in the main foyer.   Please note: Large bags will need to be checked in at the cloak desk in the foyer.
3.00pm – 3.45pm	National Portrait Gallery Highlights Tour King Edward Terrace  Parkes    Please see the National Portrait Gallery website for details on getting to the gallery.	Please meet at the Information Desk in the foyer of the National Portrait Gallery.
